Mystik Mike, the DJ born with headphones around his neck, hails from the west-end suburb of Toronto called Missisauga. Mystik started spinning records in 1990 but didn’t take off until 1992 when he landed a residency at the first all ages club in the West end called "Planet Rock". The night was called "Hot Boxx Fridays" and that's exactly what it was for almost two years. In the early '90's Mike was influenced by House, disco, R&B and hip hop. But some of that changed in the later years.

In 1995, at the age of 20, Mike decided to change his ways as a DJ and started playing strictly house. Although this led to a different DJ name his smooth mixing ability and unforgettable stage presence remained. On September the 14th, 1996, Mystik Mike made a low key appearance at Liquid Adrenaline "Back 2 Back 2" and had an impact on Toronto's rave scene. By June 28, 1997, Mystik attained legendary status and earned a permanent spot in Liquid Adrenaline's main arena.

Since then, Mystik has been featured in many cities around the world including Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Minneapolis, New York, Cleveland, and Eastern Australia. Mystik has played on bills with the likes of Josh Wink, Seb Fontaine, Bad Boy Bill, Felix da Housecat, Angel Alanis, Derrick May, Derrick Carter,

D-Wynn, and many more too numerous to mention. Mike currently holds two weekly residencies in Toronto's ram-packed X-IT nightclub on Fridays and The Web Niteclub on Sundayz.

More recently, Mystik has launched two radio programs which broadcast throughout Southern Ontario and Western New York on CHIN 100.7 FM and on the Global Groove Network across the world. Through these programs, Mystik has established a strong on air presence that has earned him notoriety and a huge following.

Besides club residencies and radio work, Mystik regularly performs for numerous companies including his home base, Liquid Adrenaline in Toronto and Minneapolis, and Mayday, Good Vibes, Phryl, and many more. His sound is versatile but can be best described as pumpin’ yet dark sometimes tribal and always funky. Look for Mystik Mike to rock a dancefloor near you because one thing is for sure -- You'll know when he's on!!
