David Crighton

David Crighton Studied Fine Art at Central Technical School, Toronto, graduating in 1974. Since then he has been recording Toronto's Architectural Diversity. Using pen & ink, water colour and acrylic to produce hand-coloured silk-screen prints, original and reproduction artwork.
His illustrations have been used to produce note cards, posters, fridge magnets, and an annual Toronto calendar.

The process:
Original pen & ink drawings are created using photography for reference. Silk screen prints are hand pulled by the artist on top quality paper. The prints are then hand coloured by the artist using acrylic paint. No two results are exactly identical.
